Rules for using Wreet software and services provided by BencMotorsport.

1) Who We Are

BENC ELEKTRONIK (trading as “BencMotorsport”) (“we”, “us”, “our”) develops and sells the "Wreet" file calculator for repairing car electronics.

2) Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our website, desktop application, or any Wreet services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

3) License & Permitted Use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Wreet solely for legitimate testing and repair purposes for your own business or professional use, and strictly in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.

  • Intended environment — Wreet is intended for motorsport, research, or off-road vehicles. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with your local laws. This software must not be used on public roads where modifications are prohibited.
  • Prohibited — resale or redistribution of solutions/outputs; sharing license keys; sublicensing; renting or leasing the software; scraping or mass-exporting data; circumventing technical protection; reverse engineering except as permitted by law.
  • Compliance — you are responsible for ensuring your use complies with laws in your country and sector.

4) Intended Use & Compliance

Wreet is intended for motorsport, research, or off-road vehicles. Users are responsible for ensuring compliance with their local laws. This software must not be used on public roads where modifications are prohibited.

Prohibited and unlawful actions: The software must not be used for illegal modifications or purposes, including but not limited to: odometer rollback/manipulation, disabling or bypassing safety or anti-theft systems (including immobilizers), preparation of vehicles for theft, data forgery, tampering with emissions or other controls where prohibited, or any other activity contrary to applicable laws and regulations.

User responsibility: You are solely responsible for all actions performed with the software and for verifying compliance with local laws and regulations. BENC ELEKTRONIK (BencMotorsport) assumes no responsibility for damage to a vehicle, harm to third parties, or any consequences arising from unlawful or improper use of the software.

5) Abuse, Fair Use & Enforcement

We actively monitor for abuse to protect the service and other users. Abuse includes, without limitation:

  • Obtaining solutions from Wreet for resale or redistribution.
  • Harvesting or attempting to reconstruct solution sets by processing files one-by-one from the same ECU model/variant (or minor variants) in order to extract/replicate our intellectual property.
  • Automated/bulk processing, credential sharing, bypassing license checks, or tampering with the application.
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or otherwise attempting to derive the source code or models, except where allowed by mandatory law.
  • Any illegal activity, fraud, harmful interference, or actions that degrade service for others.
  • Using the software for unlawful purposes such as odometer manipulation, disabling safety/anti-theft systems, facilitating vehicle theft, or data falsification.

Enforcement: If we detect or reasonably suspect any form of abuse or a breach of these Terms, we may, at our sole discretion and without refund: suspend or terminate access, revoke licenses, block devices/accounts, remove your access to services, refuse future service, and take legal action.

We may analyze session duration, feature usage, license/activation status, and relevant telemetry (including hashed hardware identifiers) to detect, investigate, and prevent abuse, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6) Digital Agreement & Contract Signing

Before purchasing Wreet Software, all users must acknowledge that a digital agreement will be required. This agreement includes Terms of Service, data collection consent, and acknowledgment of how personal and technical data may be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Access to the software is granted only after this contract is signed. We store the signed agreement (including signature image and typed name) as a PDF in secure cloud storage (see Privacy Policy).

7) Payments, Activation & Refunds

  • Payments — processed by third parties (e.g., PayPal). We do not store full card details; processors handle your payment data under their terms.
  • Activation — once a license is activated or the service is accessed/used, it becomes non-refundable except where required by law.
  • Refunds — see our Refund Policy for eligibility (e.g., non-delivery, not activated/used within 14 days) and process.
  • Anti-fraud — we may verify activation/access and order ownership before processing refunds or account changes.

8) Privacy & Telemetry

We process personal and technical data to operate, secure, and improve the service, validate licenses, and prevent abuse. The desktop app may collect CPU ID, BIOS serial, disk serial, and MAC address combined and hashed into a hardware ID, plus computer name/OS username and relevant in-app events. 9) Intellectual Property

All content, software, models, solution logic, text, graphics, logos, and compilations are owned by BENC ELEKTRONIK (trading as BencMotorsport) or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other IP laws. You may not modify, publish, transmit, sell, create derivative works from, or exploit any content except as expressly permitted in these Terms.

10) User Contributions

If interactive features are available (forums, comments, profiles), you are solely responsible for your postings and must follow these Terms. We may remove content that violates the law, infringes IP, or breaches these Terms.

11) Disclaimers

The services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that results or outputs will be suitable for your particular purpose or compliant with regulations in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for any application of outputs to a vehicle. You acknowledge and assume all risks arising from modifications or use of outputs on any vehicle, including compliance with local laws and regulations.

12) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use or inability to use the services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability for all claims shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service during the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim. Without limitation, we are not responsible for any damage, loss, or unlawful act arising from use of the software for illegal modifications (including odometer manipulation), disabling safety or anti-theft systems, facilitating theft, or any other unlawful or improper use.

13) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BENC ELEKTRONIK (trading as BencMotorsport), its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, penalties, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: your misuse of the services; your breach of these Terms; your violation of law or third-party rights; or your content. This includes, without limitation, any claim related to odometer manipulation, disabling or bypassing safety/anti-theft systems, preparation of vehicles for theft, data falsification, or any unlawful or improper use of the software.

14) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” above indicates the latest version. We may notify you of material changes via the website, app, or email.

15) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Croatia (EU), without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Where mandatory consumer protections apply in your country, those protections remain unaffected.

16) Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17) Survival

Sections 4–5, 7–13 shall survive termination or expiration of these Terms, including without limitation Intended Use & Compliance, Abuse & Enforcement, Payments/Activation/Refunds, Privacy & Telemetry, IP, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Indemnification.
